Lymed Camel ™
Aim to increase the well-being of camels
Lymed Camel Power farm racing stars Small Camu, Lazer Camu ja Bolt Camu show off their compression garments. Camel buddies are testing the durability and fit of the products.
Lymed has been working with different partner to map camel’s behaviour and anatomy since 2014.
Based on these Lymed has started to explore the effects of medical pressure garments in racing dromedaries in relation to their systematic training and recovery. Lymed is in cooperation with Finn owned Camel Power race farm with an aim to increase the well-being of camels. One of the main goals of the study is to find out what effects Lymed® garments have on metabolism and what role metabolism plays in the recovery process of camels. The study is set to finish in 2018.
At this stage Lymed Camel ™ products are successfully in use with young camels as training tools and for pacifying purposes.
Team Lymed went to Camel Power farm in January and October 2016 to measure racing camels and fit Lymed® gaments. Below are some pictures from the trips!
